Odisha medical services association recognized by Govt of Odisha vide its memo no 5309/POLL dated 29th June 1946 as a service association for members belonging to Odisha Medical and health services(OMHS) cadres. The members providing healtcare services round the clock through the public healthcare facilities starting from the PHC(N) level through CHC, SDH, DHH and Medical Colleges and Hospitals established in every nook and corners of the state.
 In addition to the preventive and curative healthcare services the members perform postmortem, medicolegal cases, attending various judicial courts as expert witnesses, festival duties, VIP protocol duties and providing on the spot healthcare services at natural disaster sites as and when required.
 We manage more than 26 national programs running under nation health mission including permanent female sterilization operations and no-scalpel vasectomies.
 All the state run blood banks are managed by OMSA members. We provide healthcare sercvices in camp mode at outreach area as per the need of the under privileged population of our state.
